Costumes, costumes everywhere!!!

Princesses, princes, equestrians, ninjas, soldiers doctors......goodness gracious, we have some exciting new people in our classroom! Thanks to Amber for the AWESOME new costumes in our room! The kids have been SO excited to dive into that costume bin every day and see what new things they are able to put on, and become, how incredibly exciting! Imaginations have been working overtime lately!

Apple pies for Thanksgiving!

Look out parents, if you thought your kids were done making pies, you were wrong! Pumpkin pie day is tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it!
Last Friday, each of your kids made their very own pumpkin pie. Now, being that I completely forgot to charge my camera battery, and managed to lose my spare battery, I was not able to get pictures of all of your precious kids, but they had fun making their pies! You should have seen us at the end of the day (no, I did not leave myself enough time to make the pies....hence the reason why they weren't baked!), it was apple pie mayham!!!
Even so, the kids had lots of fun, I had lots of fun, and everyone got to see me with lots of flour on my face.....sounds like a good day!

Our new Skipolini's Pizza Parlor and some center time.

We now have Skipolini's right here in our very own classroom, and your kids are loving it! Skipolini's was so kind to give me a couple of their tee shirts that the employee's wear, and some pizza boxes and cups, and Lakeshore had a super cool pizza, so all I needed was a cash register, and our pizza parlor was born. We have been having a lot of fun this afternoon. As I write, I am listening to lots of little ones serving, making, and eating pizza, it's pretty fun!

Gio's Birthday Party!

On Saturday, we celebrated Gio's birthday party and Chuck-e-cheese. We had a great time singing to Gio, playing, and celebrating his 6th birthday! Thank you so much Gio for inviting all of us to celebrate with you, we had such a wonderful time!

Some beautiful Kindergarten art and the beauty of the imagination!

Yesterday I was at the dollar store, and found some cowboy hats and hankerchiefs. Isn't it amazing what a kindergartener can do with a cowboy hat and hankie? Imagination has been flying for the past two days, we have had cowboys and princesses, bad guys, and all sorts of things! I'm excited to build our costume box!

And, I am so proud of your kids beautiful Fall art, so I figured I would give you guys a "taste" of what our classroom looked like right now!
