Can I tell you how much I LOVE our Dr. Seuss birthday party every year? That man is inspirational, if you haven't read his books lately, I would encourage you to read them....books like Yertle the Turtle and Oh the Places You'll Go, Sneeches and both the Horton books. He was an amazing writer and conveyed such important messages through wonderful childrens books. You may be able to tell I am a big fan. 
So we have a birthday party for him, to celebrate his legacy, and well, to have fun! And I think we succeeded at that! The Pre-Kers joined us for our party, and we were so glad they came! A big thank you to all of you parents who helped make this possible by helping and bringing in snacks!!!Our fantastic "cake" was made by Mrs. Bradway, it is so cute!!!

Ms. Vee read us Yertle the Turtle while her mom, Mrs. Bradway drew a wonderful drawing to go along with the picture. I just LOVE watching her draw and paint to books and we are so thankful that she was willing to do that for us!
