Yesterday we invited Miss Keener's class over to our classroom and we made both whipped cream and butter! First we learned all about the different things that are made from milk, including ice cream, butter, whipped cream, yogurt and such. Then we got to watch the whipping cream turn from liquid to whipped cream! We got to eat that whipped cream, and then we got to see the next batch of whipping cream turn from liquid to butter! But we had to be careful, because if we weren't then we would spray buttermilk all over ourselves!!! We had a lot of fun, and all of us got to try some of our homemade butter! How fun!!!
