Pumpkin Patch Field trip!!!

We had a great time on Monday at our first field trip! Praise the Lord, it didn't rain too much! What fun time we had, we got to see all of the animals, we enjoyed a barnyard show, we got to go on a hay ride, and through a corn maze. What a fun trip, we had a great turnout of parents also, thank you so much for coming and making our field trip wonderful!

Making butter!

Yesterday we invited Miss Keener's class over to our classroom and we made both whipped cream and butter! First we learned all about the different things that are made from milk, including ice cream, butter, whipped cream, yogurt and such. Then we got to watch the whipping cream turn from liquid to whipped cream! We got to eat that whipped cream, and then we got to see the next batch of whipping cream turn from liquid to butter! But we had to be careful, because if we weren't then we would spray buttermilk all over ourselves!!! We had a lot of fun, and all of us got to try some of our homemade butter! How fun!!!

Jog-a-thon!!!

What a fun time we had at Jog-a-thon last week! First we dressed up in our awesome capes and headbands and jogged our little legs off (your kids are great joggers!). After that we sat around and ate some snow cones. Then we made some signs and cheered our buddies on while they jogged. We finished it off the afternoon with some great hamburgers, yum! What a fun day!
