Jacob gave us a new classroom pet today! Meet Banana, our classroom California king snake.
We learned all about him today, about how they are cold-blooded, and they are constrictors, and they smell with their tounge.....and then we all held him.....of course, we learned that we always wash our hands after holding snakes! What a cute snake. Thanks Jacob!!!
Megan touched him, but she didn't want to hold him!
Tristyn did the same at first, but by the end of the day, she wanted to have her turn holding the snake!
Luke and Jacob were all about holding the snake! Cool!!!
Mathias and Erin were too!
Madison was also content to just feel his skin, but Julian wanted to hold him on his own!
Cole was curious, but wanted to just touch, David wanted to hold the snake on his own!
Oh, I think we've got some snake lovers here! They were pretty excited to get to hold him!
Claire just wanted to touch him at first, but by the end of the day, she wanted to hold him all on her own! Gio loved the snake from the get-go!
How fun! We love our new classroom pet! His name was voted on, and Banana was by far the favorite!
