Learning and Shaving Cream???
Oh what fun we had with shaving cream on Friday.....and our room smelled great afterward! On Friday morning, all of the kids got a handful of shaving cream, then they rubbed it on their spot on the table. After that, I wrote sight words on the board, they told me what it was, and then wrote it in the shaving cream......boy was it fun!

Our Shadows!
Well, we've been learning about shadows for a whole week now, and today was the very first time we actually were able to see our shadows outside! The weather certainly didn't get our unit's memo!!! Even so, your kids have been great sports about it....we've made our own shadows with a little lights out, and a big flashlight, and we have had fun still1
When we came out for recess this afternoon, the sun decided to come out for a total of about 5 minutes! It wasn't long, but it was long enough to play with our shadows for a little bit!
Alanna joins our class!!!
Christmas Party
Oops!!! I didn't have my camera at our Christmas party, but boy, did we have fun! Thank you parents, for providing our wonderful food. We got to watch a movie, make a very fun craft, eat some great food, and play! We had so much fun celebrating Jesus birthday together!
Christmas Performance
Oh, we looked so fancy on our Christmas performance! All of the kids did so well singing their songs, and reciting their lines. What a great time! And then, to top it off, we got to not only give our cookies to our parents, but we got to eat our cookies too!!! How fun! We had a great time, and I was so proud of all of your precious kids and how well they did! They were so cute!
Christmas cookies and gingerbread houses
Your kids were Christmas cookie factories!!! On the Monday before our Christmas performance, your wonderful kids frosted over 100 cookies to surprise their parents and anyone else who came to their Christmas performance. They frosted and put sprinkles on the cookies like champs, and they didn't even lick their fingers (don't worry, I watched!). What little troopers!
